Crisis Mirror are proud to present Active Member in Copenhagen June 2nd.-3rd.

Crisis Mirror invites you to a musical, theatrical and politicized break from the permanent state of emergency which, in this time of crisis haunts the continent. In sign of solidarity, we have invited the political hip hop group Active Member, from the Low Bap collective in Athens, to fire up the Copenhagen underground. Over two days we will celebrate together, discuss, watch movies and listen to the coolest political hip hop directly from the epicenter of the crisis in Greece, and you’re more than welcome!

Saturday 2nd June we will rock the Candy Factory (Bolsjefabrikken) in Ragnhildgade together with our comrades from Slumsystemet, when it goes down to the real Copenhagen underground at Distortion 2012 (note not the official Distortion!). At 16:00 we will hold the Danish premiere of the “Catastroika” documentary. At 22:00 Active Member will fire up for a great hip hop concert and throughout the night, we sell cheap solidarity drinks. See the full program here: http://www.dxstortion.blogspot.com/

Sunday the 3rd June we head to the Candy Factory (Bolsjefabrikken) on Lærkevej 11. At 17:00 Active Member will play yet another great concert. This time, they will focus on a completely new project, “Our Stolen Circus,” a profane political hip-hop concert on Greek history and a tribute to the resistance. After the concert we hope to discuss the situation in Greece and ways of resisting, together with Active Member and hopefully you!
